Rachel is a Writer, An artist and An ARTS consultant living in London.
Her practice traverses language, painting and occasionally sound. Primarily she is interested in expanding form through interdisciplinary projects, including her novel, fugue, experimenting with a musical substructure.
A freelance Associate for New Public and formerly as Project Manager for Artscape, Rachel has advised on large-scale public art and community-based projects in London, the UK and Ireland.
She is a juror for apexart’s International Open Call exhibition programme, having been a visiting Curator of programmes exploring themes of cross-cultural identity, longing and belonging, in Europe and the Middle East.
Rachel has led on projects at the intersection of art and technology, including co-founding the online platform, museme, employing machine learning for better art discovery.
She has worked in fine art sales, non-profit development, arts journalism and public relations.
Rachel teaches Suzuki Method piano lessons adapted to each student, having trained for twenty years as a classical pianist.
She received an MA History of Art on a merit scholarship from Birkbeck, University of London and a BA (Hons) Music from New York University.
