Rachel is a writer, an artist, AN ARTS Consultant and a Piano Teacher living in London.

Her creative practice incorporates language, painting and occasionally sound. Primarily Rachel is interested in expanding form through interdisciplinary projects, including her novel, fugue, experimenting with a musical substructure.

A freelance Associate for New Public and formerly as Project Manager for Artscape, Rachel has advised on large-scale public art and community-based projects in London, the UK and Ireland.

She is a juror for apexart’s International Open Call exhibition programme, having been a visiting Curator of programmes exploring themes of cross-cultural identity, longing and belonging, in Europe and the Middle East.

Rachel has led on projects at the intersection of art and technology, including co-founding the online platform, museme, employing machine learning for better art discovery.

She has worked in fine art sales, not-for-profit development, arts journalism and public relations.

Rachel also teaches Suzuki Method piano lessons, taking a somatic approach adapted to each individual student, having trained for twenty years as a classical pianist.

She received an MA History of Art on a merit scholarship from Birkbeck, University of London and a BA (Hons) Music from New York University.
