Rachel is a writer, an artist, a Piano Teacher AND AN ARTS Consultant living in London.

Her creative practice incorporates language, painting and occasionally sound. Primarily Rachel is interested in creating formal possibilities through interdisciplinary projects, including her novel, fugue, experimenting with a musical substructure.

Rachel teaches Suzuki Method piano lessons, taking a multi-sensory approach adapted to each individual student as well as incorporating music theory, having trained in classical piano for over three decades.

A freelance Associate for New Public and formerly as Project Manager for Artscape, Rachel has advised on large-scale public art and community-based projects in London, the UK and Ireland.

She has led on projects at the intersection of art and technology, including co-founding the online platform, museme, employing AI and computer vision for better art discovery.

Rachel is a juror for apexart’s International Open Call exhibition programme, having curated programmes exploring themes of cross-cultural identity in Europe and the Middle East.

She has also worked in fine art sales, non-profit development, arts journalism and public relations.

Rachel received an MA History of Art on a merit scholarship from Birkbeck, University of London and a BA (Hons) Music from New York University.
